Any recommendations for someone in Glasgow/West of Scotland?

OH's Suzuki Swift Sport has a definite leak and we've already been through the automated pressure test and re-gas routine. Google doesn't show very much up (can't imagine there's a massive demand for it in our climate).

Many thanks in advance!

If you can't find anyone, trance the hoses and look around for greasy spots, either on the fittings, hoses or on the underside of the bonnet that corresponds to the location of the fitting. If it's not the condenser or evaporator, you could probably find it yourself.

I've had a good scout around and there is nothing visually obvious. One of the high-pressure-side pipes runs under a chassis rail that I can't see too well from above and I suspect it is the most likely candidate for a leak caused by corrosion.

I checked the operating pressure on the low-side myself yesterday and it has dropped to about half of what it was four weeks ago when it was regassed. The compressor still kicks in but the system is barely chilling now. The leak is slow but present and I am thinking that someone with a gas-sniffer probably has the best chance of finding it.

Try these chaps mbjarvie.co.uk They are typically Merc/ Jag/Bently/BMW but are very competent and reasonable on air-con in particular.
