Hi All,

Looking to get my '72 Alfa resprayed in the spring.

It's in pretty good shape with only a few areas where the paint has broken. It does have microblisters from a previous paint job, so it's for that reason really I'm getting the respray.

Can anyone recommend a good body shop in the central belt? Classic friendly is a must have, Alfa experience is a nice to have.

Thanks folks,

Tom

Hi

Have a look at Legend Autobody. Gary has a Facebook page you can examine. He does a lot of classic stuff, he has a classic mustang in just now that’s a total restoration.

Protek in Bathgate have a very good reputation - I reckon it would be worth dropping them a message / giving them a call.

Good luck.

Great! Thanks for the replies - I'll contact both shops.

West Lothian seems to be bodyshop central.

I'll keep this thread updated with progress.

Clysdedale classic cars in East Kilbride seem to be pretty good. I've not used them myself but they seem to get a good name. They have a facebook page and more importantly they have an open day coming up soon so a good time to pop over for a look.

Johnny.
