the rez is back!
Discussion
What is the line up? I had a quick google and couldn't find it. Though I used to love the REZ tapes back in the day when I was in my early teens I think these days unless it was particularly hard and/or underground I think the cheesier elements are best left in the past.
If it is a Gabber, Industrial, Hardcore Techno, or Early Rave line up though count me in! (I imagine it wont be though)

Christ there's some memories in that line up.
I don't think I have listened to this for well over a decade or two!
I'd love to go but I just don't think I'd feel comfortable as grey haired, middle aged man with a well defined middle age spread!
( though I suspect there might be a few there like me )
Happy days though!

It's a shame the hardcore scene pretty much completely died in Scotland in 1998. There are a few nights like Twisted/Darkside and Impact that keep things going in Scotland, but it is still popular on the continent and doing relatively well through out the world.
There is so much good music that has come out since the good old days that I hope the more talented DJ's playing at Rez take the opportunity to demonstrate this. In particular I think Producer and Ruffneck could play amazing sets if they mix the old with the new.

Here's a good 90's mix to get in mood...

Reminds me of the mix tapes I used to squander my school lunch money on!
