Estate Agent Fees - Glasgow

Anyone in the game or just used an estate agent able to tell me what the typical commission % is sitting at?

Looking at selling my flat, wife’s father is also selling a property and has his agents down to 0.7% but that’s on a higher value property than mine.

Not sure about Glasgow but recently had a flat in Edinburgh sold and that was for a fixed fee rather than %. Don't have the figures in front of me but it must have been around £1500 which works out about 0.5-0.6%.

Just sold and it was for a fixed fee of 1000 paid on completion. Which worked out less than .3%.

We did the viewings ourselves.
