Do traffic cars still come after you and pull you over if they feel you are speeding or are they now equipped like camera vans that just take photos and you get a NIP later?

Was a traffic car and guy just holding gun out his open window?

Can't say for sure, but I know that there is a slip road on the A1 between my house and my work that the local plod like to sit on with the radar gun. They still seem to be chasing people and pulling them at the following slip road.

The very one - and the site of the only ticket I've ever had back in 2008! Comfy back seats, those Benzes. And if there's one way to enjoy being booked even more, it's to have all your work colleagues driving past you while you're being done. Awesome.

Oh aye, living the dream!

I’d only seen them on southbound side but they sit on the northbound side too. They're cheeky parking they way they do and hanging out the window with the gun.

Like shooting fish in a barrel for them. I wouldn't mind quite so much if it was a dangerous stretch of road, rather than the quiet, straight, well-sighted piece of tarmac that it is. Still, rules is rules and all that - can't argue that I wasn't speeding!
