Race The Runway - Kinloss

Is this something that could be organised? Is it possible? Does the MoD use the runway any more?

It seemed to be pretty successful at Edinburgh last year. Can we (PHers) do something at Kinloss? Bit cheaper obviously!!!!!

They are doing it at Leuchars this year.

Yes, it is still maintained as an emergency divert plus Moray Flying Club are still there.
It is, of course, still an active military base with a Royal Engineers regiment based there - a similar set up to Leuchars.

Good job the mil runways are still available as Edinburgh have announced they are ripping up the old runway so we won't see these events at Turnhouse anymore.
