The 208 GTi needs new front boots. 205/45/17V XL. Any supplier/fitter recommendations in the Livingston or surrounding areas?

I wouldn't normally recommend them, but Kwik fit are usually very competitive price wise and will fit them at your house meaning you avoid having everything else in your car condemned.

I used Ian at Edintyres in the Autumn and was very impressed - mobile fitter and genuine petrolhead.

I think he said he is a Black Circles fitter.

Costco at loanhead if you are a member and want mitchelin or Bridgestone. Free nitrogen and they seem to take good care, torque nuts up right etc.

They gouged a pair of my wheels to bits when I used them. I did ask in advance if they'd manage runflat tyres and they said they'd be fine.

I actually went over and had to stop the tyre fitter as I could see how badly he was struggling. They had already removed two tyres and made a mess of the wheels. I couldn't believe how he kept going when he must have seen the mess he was making.

The owner/manager said he'd pay for refurbishment. I suggested taking the cost of refurbishment off the cost of the 4 tyres and he refused. He put the old tyres back on and asked me to leave.

I thought that was a good offer as they'd have a profit margin in the tyres to offset some of the costs to repair their damage.

It took months to get him to stump up for the damage.

I didnt get run flats fitted. They were fine with my 18 inch non run flat tyres. I got Falken 452 tyres fitted. Just the rear tyres.
It was also about 5 gears ago.

Always have top service and very competitive prices from Linlithgow Tyres if that's not too far for you.
