Morning,

Any folk up that way? Wife and I are staying in Inverness on Friday night and picking up an Aston V8V for the weekend from Saturday morning (that's the plan anyway). How is the weather up there as we have 2 routes planned depending on the forecast. One involves a drive down to Glencoe then over to Skye for a night before pootling round up north for a day but I'm unsure what the roads are like at the moment.

Anyone able to help?

Weather currently decent. Roads clear. But it's the Highlands so that'll all change in 5 mins ;-)

Yep and that's my fear! I'll book accommodation then lose half (at least!) as i'll be cancelling the day we would be due to arrive. I'll check in again on Friday would maybe be best but good to know it's currently fine and dry. Thanks

Dry roads down Aviemore way now too. Due to get very cold over the weekend and potential for snow tomorrow.

That's positive guys, thanks very much. I'll be keeping a close eye on the weather over the next 24 hours as I've seen the forecast but considering we were meant to have the car a fortnight ago it surely wont be as bad as that weekend again. I think last weekend would have been the best!
