Mercedes main dealer / specialist for servicing

Hi folks, I'm after some advice; my girlfriends A class is due a service next month and I'm trying to find a main dealer / independent specialist where I can get the work carried out to maintain the service history. The problem I'm having is that all the dealers I've found between Perth and Inverness seem to be Arnold Clark and I'd really rather avoid those. The nearest option seems to be Western in Edinburgh unless someone could recommend somewhere closer?

Westhill Garage. I've never had a Merc, but those I know who go there swear by him.

Just as an additional question, what are peoples thoughts on main dealer vs independent specialist vs decent small garage when it comes to service history?

I guess when the time comes to sell it in 2 or 3 years (it currently 18 months old and we've had it about 6 months), would the lack of a FMDSH affect the value?

You could try Ross Duthie, he's just set up a workshop as an addition to his sales arm and is independent Merc in Aberdeen. In fact he's Merc mad, so you could do a lot worse.
