West Lothian driving area for youngster?
Discussion
Wondering if anyone can recommend an area in West Lothian that I could teach my (underage) son some basic driving skills like clutch control etc?
So maybe an old disused Car park or ind estate?
I know I can pay instructors but just wanting a wee bit of father and son bonding ?
Message me if prefer not to put it on for all to see?

Theres loads of quiet roads around Kirkton Campus and around the industrial estates early on weekend mornings. If you look at the west end of Livingston you will find quite a lot of roads that you can use. Even at the back end of the Asda car park (Under the bridge towards club earth or whatever its called these days(I'm getting old and out of touch)) in Livingston if you are there early/late enough.

That part of the Asda car park was always the boy racers area. Police popped past there. Club Earth. Hard to believe it was once called Melvilles and people travelled from all round Scotland to go. My last few visits to Club Earth were something else. That was not far off 20 years ago. It really went downhill fast.
Thursday night used to be good before the place suddenly died a death.
