Classic Car Respray In/Around Edinburgh
Discussion
Looking for some advice:
I've got a 1989 mini Mayfair. It's been painted before a few years back and the job wasn't the best and it's starting to chip/flake off in places.
It ideally needs a full exterior (engine bay and door shuts are fine) respray, it's currently Old English White which I'd like to retain.
Luckily the shell is solid and there's pretty much no rust so should be an easy job, and the roof paint is fine so won't need done.
Does anyone know what I should expect to pay for this? And if there is anyone near Edinburgh you'd recommend?

Don't know about cost, but Prestige Car Bodies in Cockenzie did a lovely job painting my orange Focus bonnet a couple of years ago (not easy to paint), and they specilise in classics. http://www.prestigecarbodies.com/
Graham at www.investorclassics.com might be able to help, or at least point you in the right direction.
I've used Dunwell Coachworks just off Leith Walk several times, once to fix a nasty dent on the door in my Mica Blue WRX, they resprayed the entire side of the car to bled the colour nicely and the result was as new. Recently I used them again to weld and respray rear arches and peeling front bumper in another car and again I'm really happy with the results.
