Looking to get my rx7 resprayed as the paint is pretty awful now. I use to live near canals where seagulls nested and the car was covered in st constantly (multiple times a day and car cover just blew away in the wind). I have a budget of around £1000-2000.

The car is vintage red but I would quite fancy changing it to the dark metallic red on the new Mazda's or Renault's. I am happy to keep it stock if it's a fair bit cheaper.

speak to Phil and Kevin at KP autos in Cambuslang, done plenty of paintwork for me over the years and its always been reasonably priced and spot on quality wise.

Maybe a bit out the way but RC Coachworks in Kirkoswald is spot on!

Do your own prep to keep the cost down. It's the time and labour charges that breaks the bank.

Block it all with 600grit, then rattle-can it lightly with matt black to show up the low areas, sort them, then wet and dry it leaving the final prep rub etc to the painters.

I recently had my project car sprayed at Campsie Coachworks in Lennoxtown. Did a good job for a fair price. Would recommend
