I have been with the kids on several occasions and thought it was very good.
The track is well laid out and is wide enough to allow overtaking. It also allows you to carry a fair bit of speed through the corners which allows heavy (fat) guys like me to be competitive with those who did not eat all the pies.
The Karts are colour coded red 120cc, yellow 200cc and blue 270cc. The reds and yellows can run together but the blues (over 18 only) run in their own session. Don't get caught out on a quiet day by being the only Kart on the track if no one else has opted for a blue one !
If you want to go on with your kids you will need to use a yellow kart and so can they if they are over 14 years old otherwise they will need to use a red one. They are fast enough to have fun with but still safe for the inexperienced.
The blue kart is really as fast as you need to go on a short circuit and has enough power to keep things interesting. I had a few sessions in the wet which involved copious power sliding which was great fun.
