Fuel in Banchory

Anyone know if the Tesco in Banchory carries the Momentum99 fuel? Will be using a tank at the Royal Deeside Speed Festival so need to know where to top up!

I think that it does as I was looking the last time I was up as was wondering whether I would need a run into town to get some high octane fuel.

I have emailed a friend who lives in Banchory as he will probably know.

It does as I use it myself sometimes - just hope it's not run out on that particular day though. Not sure how bad Banchory is, but Westhill is a pain in the arse for that.

Yes,but it is an unmanned pump and seems to go down quite frequently whether running out or pump malfunction not sure. Alternative might be the Shell at Campfield Glassel (on way to Torphins) which I think sells V Power.

Shell station at Alford also does 99 fuel, 24hrs too.

There is also a Morrisons in Bamchory, a Gulf in Aboyne, and a small garage in Kincardine O'Neil itself run by an elderly couple with a combined age very close to 200.

Apparently it is because although Tesco Westhill sells the most Momentum in the area they will only send a tanker to fill it up when others in the area need it.

So that you are aware,

Went to fill up last night at the Tesco in Banchory and they were out of Momentum.

Fingers crossed that they will have some before the weekend, but I wouldn't risk it. Fill up as much as you can before going.
