Hi Guys

Does anybody know of a decent lodge for a long weekend I'm planning in September - 3 nights budget for the lodge £400.

If anybody has a link/personal experience of a decent place please let me know ! Anywhere in Eastern Scotland...anywhere considered from Aberdeen to Berwick.

Cheers

I stayed here at the start of June

We hired two lodges and the farm house for the three nights. Lovely location, each lodge had it's own hot tub and is pet friendly.

Off the top of my head just now I'd suggest

Forbes of Kingennie

Or

Piperdam.

Both are good quality, have a golf course and fishing if that's our thing along with pretty good restaurants as well.

Chap on the Lotus forums I think runs this place http://www.gairnshiellodge.co.uk/

Technically "North East", but way inland and relatively remote - stunning scenery and cracking roads though. I pass it fairly often, but have never used it.

Check out Sauchope Links Park in Crail too. They have a few lodges for rent
