Well its that time of the year again - looking forward to this event as there is always some thing there to interest the petrol head.

Hi.

Does anyone know what the parking is like at this event, field or hard standing? Thinking of going up on Sunday, and the parking situation might decide what car we take.

Thanks - David.

Last time I was there (2years ago) we were forced to park on the grass....in the mud!

Made for fun when leaving as was in a RWD 450bhp BM!!!

It's always in the fields for the extravaganza.

If you were absolutely desperate to avoid that then there is a hard-standing carpark down at the castle but that is reserved for folk getting tickets for the castle tour and you might end up having to get tickets for that or else being turned away back towards the fields.

The grounds should be in decent condition for parking this year anyhow since it has been fairly dry and no monsoons forecast for the weekend.

Yeah as said, grass parking but shouldn't be bad this year.

Depending on if you want a 10-15 minute walk and don't want to park your car on grass, park it in Charleston Village a little south of Glamis.

Definitely a bit damp. Was there for a couple of hours on Saturday but the prospect of food and wine somewhere dry forced me away...
Couple of photos taken though;

Alldays and Onion 12Hp - got to be the best car company name ever.

and this one sums up the weather;
