Used Furniture - Glasgow Area
Discussion
Hey folks
Not really a PH question but hey; The veneer is begining to come off of my old desk so im on the hunt for a new one. Im a bit skint and I would like it to be 'real' wood rather than another chipboard Ikea affair. Wondering if anyone knows any good used or reclamation places that do desks around Glasgow, would love to get an old shagged hardwood unit and do it up myself but honestly dont know where to even begin looking. My budget is £80ish.

Pollokshields. http://www.antiquesatlas.com/strachanantiques/ Not the cheapest though.
At £80 I'd guess some of the larger charity shops might be the best bet. Or there's a social enterprise at Parkhead, across from the retail park might be worth a look.
