Yeah but it's ok because they've put a sign up! My guess is that sign says Temporary Road Surface, seems to be the way to avoid doing the job properly.

They have just spent 2 weeks resurfacing a bit of road on my commute, it's short stretch and was only in bad condition because they did such a shoddy job the last time they did it. I'm not actually convinced it's improved after all the work they have done, the field next to it would be smoother to drive on. How anyone can walk away thinking they've done a good job I don't know.

That will be their crap and very expensive "jet-patcher". They did the road behind me with it last year and I think the "patches" lasted a fortnight. Money well spent.

This is part of Contlaw Road which is in a complete state of disrepair the whole length of it. This exact "repair" was carried out not 2 months ago and funnily enough hasn't lasted. They have been blaming the AWPR traffic for the state of the roads but the truth is the road was knackered a long time before they started the AWPR. The usual story from them that they have no money to resurface it....funny how there is always money for traffic lights, ramps and other road clutter that no one wants!

Oh no…this was shovelled in and then pressed in with the boot of one council worker!

They usually reverse the pick-up over it. Obviously standards are slipping.

They've had a go. Bless them. Perhaps phone up ACC and ask when the real hole menders will be round.

Oh, and get their insurance details as preparation for any damaged alloys!

ACC are hilarious when it comes to the roads.

If you keep at them every week or so you may eventually get a phonecall from the head of repairs (can't remember name or proper title, was a while ago) explaining why they aren't repairing the roads properly. It's quite funny.

Totally agree, I stay just round from Contlaw and it's a disgrace!
