I had my Eunos done recently at Central Saab in Bonnyrigg after they fitted my new coilovers.

Great job at a great price.

You will get quite a lot of recommendations on here and almost all of them I have been not over the moon with. I have seen thread after thread after thread of so called experts with a great reputation that have failed to deliver. Not sure if I have just been unlucky all my life or just a fussy person.

I have went to some very very well known alignment specialist using all the top gear (hunter) etc etc and yet when I leave it still pulls to the left or the right or never felt planted.

I got sick of it and decided to do my own research which lead me to these guys:

http://www.autotecscotland.co.uk

I didn't go to them initially for wheel alignment, I actually went to them for their hunter road force balancing machine. I always have alloys on the larger side, (optimal OEM ones) usually 19's plus and generally 20's these days. Doesn't matter where I go they struggle to balance them, they are either fine below 50mph or if I go back and say I am not happy they change settings and its ok below 80mph and ruined after that.

I considered going to bentley Edinburgh as they had the hunter machine too but at "discounted labour" rates coming to 200 quid to balance wheels I thought ill see who else has one.

Really in scotland only Autotec has one outside bentley and one other place I had a horrible experience with. These guys are spot on, they really do care and know their stuff. They don't care if you want to stand and watch or go test the work done and come back and have it rechecked.

I then got alignment done from them and they got it sorted spot on.
I have used them for around 3 years now and they have never let me down. I don't go anywhere else. I was there last week after getting new tyres fitting at a black circle pit stop thing, I expected vibrations and I got vibrations. Had them check it on the road force and all of them were out by 10-30 grams and one wheel needed the tyre turned 180 due to high/low spots (if you are not sure what they are) get over the to hunter website and check out all the videos!

Hope this helps.

Car Craft Scotland in Broxburn are good; they seem to have a decent selection of interesting cars they're working on and I've used them a few times with various cars recently and they've always done a good job. No overly expensive either given the time it can take to get bolts etc unseized if it hasn't been done in a while/ever.
