Hi All,
Hopefully this is the right place to post this. I posted a while back about swapping the engine in my Cooper S but I can't find the post (admin feel free to combine if needed).
Basically, I have an 08 R56 Cooper S with the JCW tuning pack with no compression in on cylinder. More than likely the engine will need to be rebuilt. The car has also been sitting basically static for over a year (save for driving it from the car park into my garage). Therefore, it may need some other work on seized parts etc.
I'm looking for somebody to give me a quote to get it back up and running as I don't fancy paying BMW thousands to strip it down and tell me it will be thousands more to fix. Just wondering what the best way to go about it is as I'm basically looking for somebody to go over the car and tell me everything that needs done and whom I can trust.
The car is currently located just outside of Lanark so anybody local would be good as I would prefer the car to be picked up rather than take the chance trying to drive it.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Being close to Whitburn then pop down and see Ian at "The Garage" one of the good honest down to earth garages. I have no affiliation with them, just had good service.
