Two 20MPH signs appeared at Bothwell St off ramp from M8 when did that get sneaked in?

That will generate lots of cash

Heard a radio ad yesterday, it's apparently the entire city centre!
The only thing I can find online is here - https://www.glasgow.gov.uk/index.aspx?articleid=19... - BBC News website doesn't appear to have anything on it, would have thought it would at least have made the Glasgow & the West page.

Rather poignant I suspect.

Glasgow's councillors have basically got things to the point where far too many people living in and around Glasgow simply don't care about the city centre any more. They could blockade the streets and there would be little outcry.

They probably think this is a successful policy.

Which has this little gem in it:

"Last year, a speed survey carried out in the proposed city centre zone recorded an average speed of 22.6mph - which is considered acceptable for the implementation of a 20mph limit without the introduction of further traffic calming measures (road humps etc)"

So one might argue that the signage is a waste of time anyway. I will achieve very little.

But hey it if makes the council feel good about itself ....

Update wonder when first bump at lights will be slip road 50mph, 30mph signs 50m before traffic lights 20mph zone starts 20m further on Police will have field day outside old Habitat

Any zone commencement markings any where else?

Seen none coming in from North side of town
