Over the weekend someone managed to scratch my car from the wing mirror right to the rear wing.

The top layer of paint is very thing and it is down to the white paint.

Car is only 3 weeks old frown

Any suggestions on how to fix it?

Did this happen In the Ferryhill area by any chance? I just discovered a very similar scratch on my car. It was on the passenger side which had been parked against the pavement on a road near the duthie park over the weekend.

Maybe let Polished Bliss out at Kintore have a look to see if it will polish out. It does look very severe but you never know.

If you need a bodyshop Kinghorn are very good.

I recommend Kintore Autobody. I recently had damage to my motor that I thought required a new panel but they had a look and managed to repair it and did a great job at a good price.

Either call or go see them though as they don't have internet access on site for emails etc

Not too far away from Ferryhill.

Happened on Saturday night.

Coupled with my garage being broken in to the weekend before, it is becoming a very expensive place to live.

That's shocking man. Normally such a nice area.

I'm not very hopeful that a polish or scratch repair will do a sufficient job on mine. The scratch isn't especially deep but is made up of about 5-6 contact points along 3 panels.

I've had experience with Kinghorn body shop for panel resprays before. The quality was solid but it was pretty expensive. They were able to quote me quickly via email which was handy as they are situated beyond Dyce.

I'm going to get a quote from North East Autobody as well I've heard good things about the guy there. They are based in the centre of town which is a bonus too.
