I have recently joined David Lloyd I have acesss to both but was wondering if anyone here is a member and fancies getting into any of the racket sports or perhaps are already involved.

Keen to get into this as only so much gym you can do.

Just on the off chance!

Thanks
Ben

Out of interest how much is a membership?

We're moving to murrayfield in a couple of months so will be looking for a new gym but not sure I want to pay DL prices!

Been thinking about playing tennis as need something else to help with the fitness but also noticed murrayfield tennis club is just round the corner from our new place.

To be fair I'm getting a discounted membership so just under £60 pm without this it would be near enough £100.... which I wouldn't pay!

I'm on a friends/family rate, it is very nice but a lot of people seem to go just to drink coffee....

The only thing of value I can add to this thread is that the quality of the totty is far higher at the Newhaven one.

Agreed! I used to go when it was Next Gen certainly made it more enjoyable.

I'm guessing the Corstorphine one is a bit more family oriented due to its location, we plan to go and see how much it is when we move but no way I'm paying that much. Like the tennis option that the other gyms don't have though.
