Cheers what did you have done. It's hard to find a reasonable priced sprayer.

They did most of one side of the Jazz not long after my daughter passed her test. The finish is much better than the original. They also did the front wing and bumper, of the Jazz again, after our neighbour reversed out of his drive and all the way across the road. Fought with the insurers and paid half of what their recommended repairer quoted. They also did some work on my old porsche, including refurb of wheels. As said all very good.

I had a plastic front bumper repair and respray work done on my Evora by Willowbrae coachworks out near Peffermill. Work itself was very good although the bumper had to be refitted again by Murrays (tricky to get right AIUI).

I wouldn't recommend Willowbrae, had to return several times to get work done properly.

Used JRM twice. The good news is the colour match was extremely good. The bad news is the finishing wasn't so great. First time I thought is was a one off, and as it was a relatively unobtrusive area I wasn't too bothered. But second time too - some quite obvious swirl marks in the lacquer, orange peel etc. probably nothing that a decent car detailler couldn't sort out, but it should have come out far better than it did.

Edgefield Coachworks at Loanhead John, you've seen the results on a few of my cars that have had cosmetic work. Very good on fibreglass which is not everyone's forte...

We should catch up for a coffee over Christmas anyway....

Cheers

Yep, my experience was similar. Wifie reversed our S3 into a skip (parking sensors didn't go off apparentlyrolleyes) and took it there for fixing and spraying.

They made a great job of the repair and initially the paint job looked good too. Now a year on, part of the respay looks flat and there is a very small but odd looking patch that looks like circular scratches. My detailer hadn't seen anything like it and we assume it is some kind of paint or laquer breakdown. Detailer has done his best and it looks a lot better but disappointed overall.

Hi Richard we can chat about this over a coffee. They certainly made a cracking job of your tuscan and the colour was not the easiest of matches.

If you dont mind going to West Lothian give David at Spectrum a try, top jobs for realistic money.

I'd suggest these chaps, regulars on here but too modest to post themselves! They are used to dealing with motorsport and modified vehicles with plenty of examples of their work on their FB page, Ive known them for a long time and will likely take my Ultima there if I need work on that, and they are doing work on my daily for me. They are in west lothian.
