Robert Black & Son - Inverkeithing / Motability auctions
Discussion
My dad has finally decided he needs to get an automatic due to his left ankle giving him problems. My local indie that we use suggests Nissan Note or Honda Jazz as the best small autos.
Robert Black seem to specialise in what I am guessing is ex-motability cars - anyone any experience of them, good or bad?
I have only ever bought from auction once, it was the SMAG auction in Livingston and it was an ex-motability car. Bought it for circa £2k less than forecourt price and its still with its owner 8 years later!
Must be the least riskiest purchase to make from auctions, direct from Motability. Must check to see if there any coming up in Glasgow? Is it still easy for Joe Public to go in and buy or is it all for agents now?
