Piece in Herlad today re Arnold getting warned re misleading ads

Also noticable the "new" cars at huge discounts seem have vanished from web page

Mind you describing a 10k mile year old car as nearly new is debatable.....

TBH this looks fairly pithy even by ASA standards of pithiness.

The ASA is an odd bunch.

The Lings car adjudication made them look like idiots and they did it all by themselves too:

It just takes 1 complaint to start this nonsense.

My feeling is that they find these sorts of cases easy and quick to decide on - and it makes them look active and busy. In the Ling case they seem to have jumped the gun and once the process started couldn't back down so they just looked utterly stupid.
