Heard and seen a picture of a 250 GTO in Newton Mearns has anybody got any information on this?

I think I may have spotted this in edinburgh months ago, it just drove past me making a wonderful noise, while i was stopped at a junction. I thought surely that cant be a real 250 gto, and some googling makes me think its a replica.
