MK4 Golf Cruise Control Fitting

Guys, I have a Mk4 Golf Tdi 130 and I am wanting cruise fitted to it. I can get a stalk off eBay for £20 so just require help fitting and activating it... Is there anyone on here with experience fitting and activating via VagCom as Id happily provide payment/beers etc or if there is somewhere I can take it that do the same?

I think it may be a bit more complex than that, A mate just had CC fitted to his Audi A5. I believe the ebay versions may not be quite what they seem.

Best call Jim McAuley who is based in Wishaw and ask him. he has a garage there and could tell you if it can be fitted and give an idea on cost.

You usually need to add wires to the harness back to the ecu.

Thanks Paul,

The reference to eBay was just for a second hand genuine cruise control stalk. There is a fuse to be added and it needs to be coded. Luckily things weren't so complicated back in 02! All the best to you too!

I have heard about the ecu. I'm on the southside of Glasgow.
