Hi all,
I've just been alerted on FB that Ingram Skoda in Ayr was broken into last night frown
Malcolm Ingram has posted himself ..

Malcolm Ingram: PLEASE HELP !! Ingram SKODA was broken into last night and the thieves stole a lot of tools belonging to the mechanics, tools that these guys use to earn their living, there was also some diagnostic equipment stolen as well which is only any use at a main dealer so no value to anyone other that us, in addition to that Ingram BODYSHOP was broken in to last week and 2 sets of GOLF R alloy wheels were taken.............I will put up a substantial cash reward for any information relating to the incidents.
PLEASE SHARE................

Utter Scum! mad

Now I don't have a Skoda or have ever dealt with them , but it doesn't matter.
If the PH could keep their eyes peeled on the usual motoring forums, Gumtree and Ebay etc it'd be appreciated as I'm all for us all looking out for and helping other businesses and fellow motorists .
Thanks,
Steve

Thieving scum frown. My dad's in the trade so I know the score about how important tools are. Hopefully the company's insurance comes good.

I'm normally on the lookout for automotive tools so I'll keep an eye out for anything looking shady.

That's crap, apparently Ingram were one of the better main dealers and had a decent reputation, not that it matters, any sort of theft from honest law abiding businesses is out of order. frown

I'm not likely to be looking for any tools for sale but if I come across any Golf R wheels (I'm on the looking for replacement OEM alloys for my dads Jetta at the moment) I'll certainly alert the relevant people if they look dodgy.

Utterly crap for the hard working techs, thousands of pounds of personal tools stolen. I hope they either get tools back or suitable recompense.
