My BMW 645 coupe is needing a service and a slight oil leak looking at, the local place has failed to fix the leak twice now so won't be servicing the car.

Is JD motors still the place to go? It's been a while since I've been there and I've heard there have been some changes. Any others I would be better going to?

I'd rather have a specialist that knows about these as it's a complicated old bus and they seem to have some issues that more general garages won't be aware of.

Now booked into premier motors, got a surprise when I went to the garage on the hardgate behind talisman office to find its no longer a garage!

I didn't realise the hardgate continued over the roundabout.

Well...
Scott found that the previous garage had damaged the rocker cover, hence the continued oil leak and now the need for me to buy an new rocker cover! They also missed the altenator belt being about shagged.

He's changed all the seals on the rocker covers and vanos units, the altenator belt and is doing an oil and filter change while it's in there.

Large bill that I won't mention to the wife is incoming.

It's reasuring when they knew what was likely to be wrong with the car before I'd finished explaining the problem.
