Ozone generator
Discussion
Has anybody had this done to their car? After 17 years the interior of my z3 is starting to smell its age, I've had it steam cleaned and keep an air freshener in it but I'd rather get rid of the smell completely.
I've read that connecting an ozone generator for a couple of hours will remove any smells... Does anybody know of a valeting company / detailer that offer this service in central scotland? If not I'll hire a machine but I'd rather have someone do it that's experienced.
Cheers

Never heard of using an ozone generator for car cleaning. I used to use them as part of a disinfection system for swimming pools and they were great but ozone is def. not something i'd like to mess about with especially in a relatively confined space such as a garage etc.
About 20 yrs ago one of the engineers was commissioning a system that hadn't been connected up properly a few whiffs of the stuff and his lungs had collapsed and he spent about a month in hospital, lucky to be alive.

After reading that I might just buy another magic tree!!! About 20 yrs ago one of the engineers was commissioning a system that hadn't been connected up properly a few whiffs of the stuff and his lungs had collapsed and he spent about a month in hospital, lucky to be alive.
If anyone has any other suggestions I'd be happy to hear them.
