Absolutely horrible situation. Surely Police need to be held accountable for their actions here?
But they won't be.I joined the M9 at Linlithgow this morning on my way to Stirling. There was a Kord Ka in the trees just past the slip road, but with police tape around it, so they were aware and had marked the scene. I did my business in Stirling, took about 40 minutes, and was about to join the roundabout at the Stirling services to go on to the M9 south when a dark grey, unmarked police BMW came hurtling round the roundabout with sirens blaring and lit up. He was 2 cars ahead of me when he hit the slip road. When I got down the slip road he was nearly out of sight, so on his way to anemergency at speed. Didn't see him again until Linlithgow. He was stopped beside the Ford Ka, blue lights still flashing but both officers waiting in the car, so no real emergency then. A bit of ever-reaction given last weeks situation and emergency lights and high speeds to wait for a recovery vehicle?
