Aberdeen builders?

Does anyone have a recommendation? Have sent drawings etc to about 10 different companies over 2 weeks ago, not even as much of a courtesy reply yet to say thanks but no thanks we don't want to qoute.

Have you tried chasing them up? Did you call in advance to discuss or just blind send them the drawings?

We've just finished an extension, we called each company that we asked for quotes in advance, as much to sound them out as anything else. Had a meeting with each and sent them away with copies of the drawings and got quotes back.

In any case, the company that did the work was GB Construction (http://www.garybryant.co.uk/), we are very happy with their work and they accommodated all our requirements and timescales very well. Theirs was the best quote too. We'd also suggest MTC, we've had homers done by a couple of their guys, they only lost out on the extension because they were a bit more expensive. Both are worth approaching, I'd say.
