Afternoon all,

I've been trying to sell my car for the last two weeks and I've had very little interest. I think it's priced fair for the model, age, condition, miles etc. I don't know if it's market saturation or something else?

Anyway, I have a new car and I start a new job next week in Oxford and I'll be travelling up and down every weekend so I need it gone soonest. I was considering auction but I'm worried it will go for next to.nothing compared to the book price.

Or do I go with an eBay auction ?

Has anyone sold at Central Car Auctions? Any advice?

Many thanks.

Martin

We sold a Corsa C at the car auction at Ingliston about 4 years ago. Achieved a price not far off what they sell for privately at the time.

Have you tried Gumtree, or webuyanycar? Might be an idea to take the webuyanycar offer, then add a small percentage and advertise on gumtree with that price for a few days, using webuyanycar as a backup if it doesn't sell.

What about some local Facebook selling groups as well?
