Classic Alfa servicing near Glasgow

I am about to buy a 1972 Alfa GT Junior and would appreciate if someone could recommend a good alfa garage.

I use Motortune for my 911 and Peter is superb but would like to know if there is a similarly well respected garage for older Alfa cars.

not very near Glasgow but Euan at CP garage services in Dundee is probably the best person in Scotland for this, he has 105 series cars and knows them very well.

CM Garage in EK I find to be excellent, however perhaps not as well versed in the older stuff - although Kenny in there is a massive 'old school' fan - but seeing increasing numbers of older cars in there nowadays. I trust these guys implicitly.
Shawlands Motor Co in, funnily enough Shawlands, I was always led to believe was the older Alfa expert. But don't really know much about them.
Other than that, McLennans in Loanhead have an excellent reputation too perhaps worth enquiring too. There is Labinjoh through there too but again know nothing about them.

Very much agree. Worth the journey IMO
