Cant find anyone via Google who can help so am turning to PH, who always come through smile

I have a waterbed I need to move(well, ditch actually) but cant empty the damn thing. It needs a pump or something,to pump water out the 1st floor window.
So does anyone know a firm that sells or installs water beds that cover East Lothian, who can drain thedamn thing

Cheers

Cant you use a length of hose and syphon it off into your bath or toilet?

I think that may get some of the water out,but it has anti-sloshing-about panels in it so would leave a lot of water in it

Kowa, I've moved a few waterbeds and its fairly simple. As someone else suggested, syphon the bulk of the water out. I then use a pump mounted in my drill to get rid of the last few gallons. Its all fairly straightforward.

OP - I sympathise.

My wife and I had a water bed for many years.

We decided getting rid of it was for the best as we were drifting apart.
