Replacement soft top
Discussion
Well it had to happen, eventually! The rear window in our Boxster has started to unravel, with all the stitching seemingly rotting and giving up all at once.
I want to replace the present black mohair hood with a blue version with the glass/heated rear window.
Does anyone here have any recommendations for a supply and fit here in Scotland?
I did contact a place in South St in Glasgow but he seemed, to put it mildly, less than enthusiastic when I phoned.
Thanks in advance.

Try Ramsay Trimmers at Pentland Industrial Estate near Ikea in Edinburgh. 0131 440 0555.
I haven't used them for many years, but they did a great job on my TVR Tamora roof & footwell a while back. But, more to the point, their workshop was rammed full of some beautiful classic cars being brought back to their former glory - always a good sign!

I would also endorse Willie Ramsey, he has done a couple of little bits for me but has an excellent reputation and gets cars in from all over Scotland.I haven't used them for many years, but they did a great job on my TVR Tamora roof & footwell a while back.
