I know it's early but I'm all booked up for next year and I was wondering if we could pin this topic with everyone adding to it when they're travelling down and what ferry so we can meet and drive down together!
I'll start - I'm booked on the 16th june at 14.45 from dover on speedferries and back on the monday at roughly the same time..

Lol, I drove to Scotland (my first ever visit) the weekend just gone, so you lot are gonna do that - and then drive to Le Mans, you guys rock
We breed 'em tough up here. I drove to Tignes in the French Alps (via Lyon) in a single sitting some years back from Fife; took about 18 hours including ferry. Arrived just in time for the lifts opening, did a day's hard skiing, then went to the pub Drove back home a few days later when the weather closed in
Scotland to Le Mans? A doodle!

Once you get out of the UK, the journey to Le Mans is half the fun as long as you are travelling in the three or four days before the race. The cars and bikes on the road are an experience.
I have an amazing memory of a Lambo passing us in the outside lane doing at least 50mph faster than us (and we were in three figures) and being chased by about 3 or 4 bikes, a Noble and various other exotica.
Coming home is a bitch of a journey though, took about 22 hours solid driving last time.
