Personal Fitness Trainers in Aberdeen?
Discussion
Not exactly car related, but I'm hoping someone can assist.
I like to consider myself as reasonably fit for my age (mountain bike once or twice a week and run around 15-20km a week), but I'm sick of being a little on the tubby around the middle area, have been for many years and I'm wondering if anyone can help recommend a personal fitness trainer in or around the Aberdeen area.

Thanks Kenny, might take you up on your offer.

I can highly recommend Barry Stephen personal training on Ann St. I have been with the guys for almost 2 years now. The are excellent. All extremely highly qualified and well thought of within the fitness industry. Their gym is excellent aswell.
Check them out on FB and their website.

Both B19nor with his military fitness and the crossfit look good.
There are a lot of "bootcamp" type classes up and down the country, with about 5-6 different ones in Falkirk. Some of them don't look anything special (I'm also an army pti).
If you enjoy mountain biking and getting outdoors then i would definately go and try the military fitness. Group sessions can be a lot of fun, while at the same time working you hard.
Crossfit is a system from the states, but most people running classes aren't certified to teach crossfit TM. Something to look at as well, as the classes can be really good.
I suggest go and try the classes and have a chat with the instructor/s. The one that you enjoy most and feel happy with the atmosphere/set-up is the class i would go to. A good gym or class is down to good quality instruction. Remember you will probably need to tweek and adjust your diet, so ask about that too. Unless training for something specific, most training won't contadict each other.... hence quite a clever name crossfit, probably inspired from cross training.
Good luck.
