I'm thinking seriously about buying a GT86 but I only just fit in it. Its comfortable enough to drive but more room would be preferable! Does anyone know of someone in Scotland that would be able to lower the standard seats whilst keeping the option of sliding it forward and backwards?

I done this a we while ago, all I done was to half the frame in 2 and cut out the acquired amount whilst still allowing the seat to slide forward and back freely without catching underneath then weld up and paint

Most bodyshops could do this for you sadly due to work commitments I can't spare the time to help out.

What area are you and ill can see if any custom guys out that way that can take on the task.

Ah cool sounds like it will be possible then! I'm in Glasgow.

A colleague has suggested giving Ken Brown in Hillington a call. Any other suggestions would be great though, thanks.

RA Motorsport near Perth have one of these cars as a project vehicle and are in the process of stripping it all down for some major upgrades. Might be worth giving them a call as chances are they have the seats out of their car already and could give some impartial advice.
