Wow ok i didnt realise it was that far back! My goodness, no wonder i cannot remember. That was a deadly trip and the Ph runout was great! I must post another picture or two tomorrow from that!
I really have no idea where i went. I know we stayed by loch ness also, maybe it was near there? I am hoping to find it on google maps. That picture was taken right at the side of the road so if anyone goes by there on the way to work daily they will hopefully recognize it

hey Stranger
I remember meeting you too! One of pics is you talking to me beside the QV!
We did the run up to Oban via Loch Lommond. I recall you said you were going North and then back home? I thought you went up the West coast from Oban following the main roads after the meeting??
Hope your well and thriving.
Regards
Paul

I was in Scoland a while back and found the most magnificent road, except i cannot for the life of me remember where it was. As it has been bugging me for the past couple of weeks, i thought the best place to ask was pistonheads So fellow pher's, where is this location in Scotland?
These two pics look like they were taken towards the top of loch lomond. The pictures of the cars in the car park looks like Ganavan sands outside Oban. Brilliant! I have been looking at googlemaps with all the suggestions and it definitly looks like the A82 at Loch Lommond! I havent pinpointed the exact spot but i am pretty sure that is the area. Thanks all!
Vipers - Its an irish reg and usually older cars have black plates, with silver writing, i kinda got away with that for a while because it looked like an older car. I dont bother anymore though.
Andy - I have managed to lose all the original pictures They are just jpgs i did ages back at small sizes. Raging at i really adored those pictures and i am usually meticulous at logging every picture taken. Seeing as i have over 500,000 though one or two folders are bound to go missing

If that's North End Loch Lomond, it's my local turf - will be swinging down there in the next couple of days and will see if I can confirm!I really have no idea where i went. ChooooooooorThat road is just between the two coffee shops that I work at at.
Just next to bonnie braes?
I literally drive that road 6 times a day in the summer!
I'll try and get a picture when I get myself a car
I've embarrassed many bmw drivers on that road trying to follow when i'm driving the van or rover 75
