I've taken my MX5 to Autocraft Engineers in Kirkintilloch for 4 years now. Excellent service, would highly recommend.
They've replaced wheel bearings for me. Happy to let me supply the parts for them to fit and always done quickly with no fuss.

Good guy, his work was always spot on with my Hondas. He was happy to drop and collect me from the local train station. Highly recommended.
yeah on that note as well he has collected my car and returned it without issue from my work, which is only round the corner from him. http://www.jlmotorengineering.co.uk/
Couldnt recommend James highly enough, very diverse knowledge of cars, from sixties up to date.

You can ask them to rectify the damage. If they get difficult, you could threaten small claims to give your argument more punch.
They clearly haven't put the lift on properly.
I use these guys:
http://www.dreadnoughtgarage.com/
They work on 100k super cars as well as old peoples micras. They know what they're doing. Never faulted them. (I had the same problem, car comes out garage with a fault fixed, but with 2 new ones!)
I travel 50 minutes just to use that garage on my old rover!

Sorry to see that OP. For what it's worth the rear jacking points on my MX-5 are utterly knackered and were so when I bought it. Seems commonly done (by the careless).
I'm also in Glasgow and have been through many garages just like you. Let me know if you come up with a good 'un next time.
I'm going to try that guy Automek next. I've used Dreadnought before and found them pretty good. Tried many others around Glasgow, including some highly regarded specialists and ended up disappointed.
People I did have an excellent experience with lately were Simon's Custom Exhausts in East Kilbride - a guy who genuinely gives a s
t, and Pro-Grip in Larbert for geometry. Both very knowledgeable and reasonable people to deal with.
