Thought I would share my recent experience with Ecotune in Hillington. Above graph really tells the story - my somewhat boring Volvo 2.4D (original bhp 151 and torque 238 - down slightly on original figures) has been transformed into a rather more interesting 209 bhp and 351 ft lbs of torque. More was achievable, however I wanted a nice smooth torque curve and an improvement in fuel economy was the main criteria.

Goes without saying that the car has been transformed and is now a similar drive to the BMW530d that I had previously.

Total cost was 350.00 this included 4 hours of fettling and 25 dyno runs.

Highly recommended and my fuel economy has increased by 10%.

That seems a bloody good price for the 4 hours, 25 dyno runs and the price of the mapping software!

That's what I thought. An off the shelf "tuning box" can cost up to £400 - I would far rather have a custom map written and have the dyno runs to prove the gains.

Looks good. Enjoy your car now.

Remapping is one of the first things I do when buying a new (diesel) car. It's just so much better.
