It's funny you mention that. I am moving house this coming year I hope and although this sort of damage has occured I do have a pair of new mirrors with casings etc etc but I refuse to put them on until I move.

Sympathies mate. It's sights like this that make me so glad I have sufficient off-street parking.

does your centre diff still work?

have you modified it in someway to be more reliable? maybe a haldex conversion or something like that ?

or have you just religiously stuck to the old rotate tyres every 1000 miles to keep wear even, and only ever replace

Not good, had that on my street year or two back, but 10 or so cars including mine got mirrors kicked off one evening. Thankfully a cheap fix for me.
I just don't understand why. Even when folk say the jealousy thing, what does smashing a wing mirror achieve?

Yeah my transfer box still works and I am using the original system. I know a chap that makes the locked box kits for them which I want to install in the new year.

I think it's because they see it as something they don't have and it's easier to upset your day than to just leave it alone.

Looks like just the glass that's broken, that should all push back into place, then replace the mirror, still pretty poor having to do it though.

All the casing etc is busted up. Fixing isn't hard but it's money out of my pocket.

Really? I did see police and fire engines at the top of Anderson avenue.
