Does anyone fancy a wee hoon, maybe over the Dukes Pass or something similar round about the 2nd of January?

I figure that by then most of us will be beyond the hangover stage and dying to get out of the house for a bit.

Any takers?

I would probably take a run down for it, what date are you thinking of?

I was up that neck of the woods yesterday. Roads are pretty terrible in places... Callander to Loch Katrine is pretty bad, lots of crap washed down from the banks and lots of broken surfaces in places. Same goes for the road to Inversnaid - they've been filling holes and ice damage with that rubbish 'lob a spade full in and don't worry about the roller' type of gravel that makes the road surface like the north face of the Eiger. I like driving but yesterday was pretty miserable thanks to the road conditions, weather and the fact it was dark o'clock by 3pm!

Was this not the run where we were all meant to drive daily snotters?

If AJM comes I'll bring mine - not weather dependant in the least biggrin

Sorry boys, just been busy.

I was thinking maybe 1pm on the 2nd. To be fair to all I figured Stirling services or dobbies car park out that way? We could drive to Callander, over the pass to aberfoyle and back via lake of monteith? Anyone have any other suggestions? Gets us out the house for a wee bit. I'm not planning on gunning it and im happy to take someone shotgun if they don't want to (or can't) drive.

Any suggestions?

I may make an appearance on the day, dependant on how bad the weather is.
If traffic over Duke's Pass is light I'd probably do a few runs back and forward over the pass rather than the complete loop.

Got a new suspension fitted and ready to test out and (great excitement) should also have a new wiper blade delivered by then, suspect the wiper blade is going to be the more useful out of the two rolleyes
