I know most of you are aware of the scum nicking cars but its not just not in Aberdeen.

The wife just caught 2 Neds in her mums house "In Turriff" looking for her 1M keys, these lot are looking for keys left at your door or hall area and will be off in your car in seconds.

I am guesing she was followed as her mums street isnt exactly easy to find and this was within mins of her getting out of the car and into the house.

Two kids she reckons about 16-18 wearing tracksuits and black hoodies.

And dont leave keys near a locked door either

Locksmith replacing a lock gave me example how easy it is to get keys through letterbox Worryingly easy

While you shouldn't perhaps leave them in view of a letterbox or whatnot, there's a school of thought (which I like) that you leave your keys just around the corner - so if they *do* break in at night, they can have the keys and be off, without bothering or endangering you upstairs.

Nah that would be making it easy for them, then making it our fault!

So GP say anyways.

Just been told by a customer that their neighbour's Audi was stolen off the driveway last night in Kintore. They didn't break into the house for the keys though...

My colleagues mate had their Q7 disappear from their drive in Westhill on Sunday night...I sense a pattern here.

First time i've heard of the Audi having the same problem as the BMW to be honest, is it the same
Thing with the crims reprogramming the keys?. Is the best quick fix a disclock or crooklock type
Device?

My other half is a rozzer and was telling me that these cars are being taken without the owners keys.

Probably just as well, i fear the red mist would descend if i caught someone in my castle.

I'm not clued up on the story, but I believe that there is a key (or part of) hidden in the glove box that can be used if you lose your key

If you have an Audi, check in a *hidden* compartment for some mysterious key!

It's supposed to be a 2-part thing that needs something added to it, but the thieves may have found a way round it

Pal's RS4 taken from his mum and dad's drive in Kintore last night. Apparently they took the keys from the house.

This is getting so out of hand it's unreal. Police have told him it was a gang from down south. Hmmm. Seems convenient that a gang from down south would target Aberdeen at the same time as the garthdee minks. Justifying the lack of arrests perhaps?

So have the police arrested any of the gang or are they just telling him that to make it sound like they're making progress in their investigation?
