Wanted - diesel Beetle for sale

Bit of a long shot here but the missus has had her diesel Beetle written off and wants another Diesel Beetle to replace it.

Very few in Scotland under 60k miles and under 8 grand - if you happen to see one local to you, maybe a sign in the window or whatever then can you let me know?

As I said, its a long shot but need to give it a try!

Just as a follow up, after hunting high and low, my wife decided that she wasn't ready for another Beetle and instead, bought a petrol Fiesta.

However I would like to thank Sandy from Cowgate - being 60 miles or so away in Motherwell he was willing to spend time getting information for me about the car and nothing was too much bother for him. Also impressed that he was pro-active enough to reply to this thread.

Absolutely light years ahead of the majority of the Arnold Clark staff I have dealt with in the last week!! That could be a book in itself, never mind a single thread!!
