Used these about a month back, not bad lodges, each have a hot tub (nice in the cold) and they have chickens around to supply fresh daily eggs. Not quite where you are looking but not too far, just near Knockhill

I would recommend Brighouse Bay just out of Kirkcudbright. Open all yesr round. Try and get a lodge in Graplin. They have a mix of new and older lodges there. There is a small clubhouse which serves pub food a golf course, good walks and for good food and beer there is a huge choice in Kirkcudbright.

I havr a lodge there but dont have permission from the site owners to rent it out nor does my insurance civer it
