Builder / Window installer in Glasgow/East Ren

I'm looking to replace some windows which are complete floor to ceiling on a balcony
On inspection, fairly large sections of the supporting joist has been removed during previous work fitting central heating
As a result, the window installer i had used on previous work is feeling nervous
there is still a substantial thickness of wood there, so it looks fine to me, but I'm just an interested amateur
So, I'm looking for a company who can inspect the joists, and determine-
- The joists are fine 'as is' , and fit new windows
or
- reinforce the existing joists and fit new windows
Anyone recommend a builder/window installer in the Glasgow area?
