Does anyone know anywhere that fits HID kits in Glasgow / South Lanarkshire?

I already have the kit.

Cheers.

Is it not pretty much a DIY job? I did it on my old car and it took all of 10 minutes. Hardest part was finding somewhere to put the ballast out of sight. What car are they going onto?

Merely a suggestion, I do know that coming into the winter there's usually a clampdown by the police on retrofitted HID kits. £30 fine

They are going on a 7th Generation Celica.

As for the law, I'm happy to take my chances with the risk of the £30 fine in return for the increased winter visibility in the dark unlit country roads that I commute over twice a day in darknes for the winter months.

Only 4300K so they are also normal coloured light output.

And think about the grumpy old man who has just came back from a journey through to Edinburgh and back cursing the cars with bright white badly adjusted lightssmile

If same output as normal light how can they be brighter

The "K" rating is to do with colour not power....the higher the K rating the more white to blue the light is.

Mine will be the same colour as normal standard halogen bulbs, the light will throw much further though.

Still looking for a fitter? If I have to ill do diy I suppose.
